Ingredients
  1. 2 lbs. ground beef
  2. 1 medium onion, diced
  3. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  4. 1 red bell pepper, diced
  5. 1 green bell pepper, diced
  6. 3 stalks celery, diced
  7. 1 tomato, diced
  8. 1/4 cup diced green chilies
  9. 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
  10. 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  11. 2 tbsp chili powder
  12. 1 tbsp oregano
  13. 1/2 tbsp basil
  14. 1/2 tbsp cumin
  15. 1/2 tbsp adobo sauce
  16. 1 tsp salt
  17. 1 tsp pepper
  18. 1/2 tsp cayenne
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, sauté the onions and garlic over medium heat. Add in the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain the excess fat and then transfer the meat mixture to the crock pot.
  2. Add in the bell peppers, celery, and diced tomato. Top with remaining ingredients and spices and stir everything together. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Serve warm.
